When I work on yWriter on my computer then try to switch to the app, I can't seem to open the latest version of the file (saved on google drive), even though it says it's the right date/time. It defaults to the last version that was open in the app, the autosaves over my work so I lose whatever I did on the computer.

Thanks for reporting this. I have a couple of questions to help diagnose the issue. - Is this on the iOS or Android version? - How frequently does this issue occur? - If you use 'Open Project' instead of 'Continue' does it prevent this issue or does it still occur?
Ensure that both devices are connected to the internet and wait a minute after you save and close yWriter on PC before you open the project on the app to allow it to upload then download. Ensure that the project is never open on both devices at once. If that does not help, it would be helpful if you can send a log file to yWriterApp@gmail.com and include in the message the exact time that the issue occurred so that I can locate in the logs. To send the logs, tap the 3 dots menu in the top right of the mobile app, tap view logs, tap the menu again then tap Share... and select email.

Thanks for responding so quickly!
- Android - I haven't used the phone app much yet, but this started happening yesterday, and I haven't been able to fix it since it started. - Yes, it happens regardless of whether I use Continue or Open. I also tried opening another project in between, and I shut down the app fully.
I just tried again. yWriter has been closed on my computer for about five minutes, and Google drive has the correct timestamp for the file, but the version that opened doesn't have the updates I made a few minutes ago. I'll send the log now. The time was 4:07pm ET.

I replied via email.- but for the sake of anyone else seeing this problem, I’m looking into the cause of the issue, and.will update when a fix is available. I’m currently travelling so it may take some time. In the meantime, you could try using a different cloud storage temporarily such as Dropbox, etc. as the issue might be isolated just to Google Drive.
