I followed the instructions to upgrade to & yw7, save my former yw5 file as yw7 and uploaded it to Google drive, but it won't open in Ywriter Android. All I get is the message "The project failed to import. Ensure the file's contents are in one of the supported formats: plain text, rtf, yw6 or yw7."
I've tried it in both yw6 and yw7 and get the same error message. I was able to import an rtf export, but shouldn't it also work with the yw7 file?

Hi Tami, Thanks for reporting this issue. 3 things - 1. Could you please send an example of a .yw7 file that has this issue to ywriterapp@gmail.com and I'll see if I can replicate it. 2. Can you please also send me the diagnostic log from main menu -> View Log (it may take some time to load) -> menu -> Share log. This is a fairly generic error for when the file fails to read for any reason, but there will be more details in the log which will help me diagnose the issue. 3. If you create a brand new empty .yw7 project and put it on google drive, does it still have the problem? Thanks, Liz yWriter App Support

Hi ghinen,
Sorry for delayed reply. Does this issue happen always, and just for Google drive or other storage too? Can you please send me a log file?
From main menu -> View Log (it may take some time to load) -> menu -> Share log. Select email and send to yWriterApp@gmail.com
