Advice to give a good bug report (in order of importance):
- 1. Describe what you were doing when the issue occured, and what the problem was.
- 2. Check if you can reproduce the issue more than once by following the same steps.
- 3. If so, explain the steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
- 4. Include the version of yWriter being used, your device model and Android/iOS version and anything unique/of note about your setup.
- 5. Collect a log file and send it to ywriterapp@gmail.com
- 6. Include screenshots or video of the steps to reproduce the issue (if applicable).
In general, the more of these steps are complete, the more likely the bug can be be identified and fixed promptly.
